How to Back Up Photos to iCloud (2 Ways)
These days we store more and more photos on our iPhone.So it’s natural to wonder, how can we back them up to iCloud.,so we can save some local storage?Most importantly, we’d have a copy of them as an insurance policy.
We’ll walk you through 2 different ways.
First Way
Let’s dive in!We’ll start with iCloud Photos.To do this, open the Settings app on your iPhone,Go to apple account page, tap iCloud, photos,then go ahead and turn on the toggle switch.By default, the Optimize iPhone Storage option is selected to keep your photos as smaller size versions.If you want to keep the full-resolution ones, select and Keep Original instead.Here we’ll just let it stay as default.The photos app should be uploading at this point.
Second Way
Another way to enable iCloud photos, is go to general,iPhone storage,then tap enable to proceed.If you are running out of iCloud storage, you can consider to buy more,Or,You can back them up to your computer using iCareFone.First, make sure
to select and keep original,then go ahead and turn iCloud photos off.
Now
connect your phone to the computer,tap trust when prompted.On iCareFone, navigate to the Photos tab,All your images should be showing up here instantly.To
back them up, make a selection, click on the export button.
Now you can save them
to anywhere on your computer.Just like that.You can import them back to your
iPhone anytime you need to. Another way here is upload them to iCloud.com from your computer.Once signed in with your Apple account, go to the Photos tab.Click on Upload.Then select your photos and tap open to confirm.Here we go.You can see the progress bar on the bottom of the screen.If iCloud photos is enabled on your iPhone, they should showing up right now.So that’s it.
